Bi-Monthly Ragtime Sessions
The Cascade Ragtime Society invites everyone to join them for a fun-filled evening of music at Noah’s Ark (411 N.W. Safari Road, Winston, or phone 541-784-126l) every third Saturday of all even-numbered months. Music begins at 5:30 pm.

While the main instrument is piano, other acoustic instruments and singers may participate as well. The emphasis is on ragtime music, however, related music such as “pop” tunes, early jazz and classical music can also be performed.

Performers will find an enthusiastic audience for which to play. The Cascade Ragtime Society has been meeting regularly for more than seventeen years and has many dedicated members. The musicians are a mix of amateurs and professionals, beginners and advanced, of all ages. The main purpose is to have fun and at the same time to support and promote early twentieth century American music. Plan to attend as either a performer or a listener.
